Do Now 12/15

Mahatma Ghandi once said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Ghandi fought for change and equality and was sadly assassinated for doing so. Ghandi is an inspiration so many, including myself. Ghandi did not allow anyone to put down his beliefs. When someone tried, he would continue fighting for what he believed was right. He was showing the world the change that this world needs. He is a part of that change.
I have always believed that everyone deserves to be equal- that there shouldn't be so many people fearing what is different. One of my life goals is to build houses in countries all around the world for those who desperately need them. This goal will not only warm my heart, but it will give a family a place to live. I also want to adopt a child one day because I believe that every child should be given the chance of being in a family. A family where he/she could play with his/her siblings and can spend Christmas with a family that loves him/her.
The life goals that one plans you ones future should also build a path for one to help others. It does not have to be a change as big as having peace all around the world. However, standing up for someone for bullying, or even just complimenting someone on how nice they look can make a big difference even though you might not think so. "Be the change you wish to see in the work." Listen to Ghandi's words and change what you don't like about this world instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you.
